APPROACH

Anna's practice is dynamic and rigorous. It often features the use of  'story-sharing' to inspire conversations that are capable of informing 'whole-of-community' dialogue. The content is largely formed around social justice issues. Story-sharing may draw upon a variety of art forms and invariably results in a public outcome. Since 1996 Anna has curated over twenty exhibitions, installations and community events. A few examples of Anna's recent work and her innovative approach to community engagement are:

(1) Her use of 'Story / listening circles' and community theatre for the purpose of local government consultation and planning

(2) Her use of the 'Human Library' model as a tool for consumer governance training.
Anna's practice is significantly influenced by her studies at Victoria College of the Arts, where in 2010 she completed a Masters in Community Cultural Development (CCD).

Refer to Anna's CV and her 'Portfolio' (located on sidebar) for an outline of her extensive experience.
